Cultural Connection and Community Building
We emphasize cultural preservation and community connection by offering elder-led storytelling, cultural workshops, symposiums, and community events. Moreover, we are building dedicated gathering spaces in each province to facilitate interactions between Indigenous residents and strengthening communal bonds.
Provided applications to be filled out in person, and/or by email. The rent to own application, Equifax and TransUnion forms were given to each applicant.
The application deadline set for all documentation to be provided within 60 days
Review & verification of Information on Applicants
The review committee was identified, and verification of information provided on application.
- 2 Years of Tax Assessments
- Confirmation of current Employment for the past 2 years
- Confirmation on previous rental history, by providing Landlord reference letter for past 10 years.
- Bank Statement showing us that rent has been paid.
- Applicants will be provided a form to request a credit report from Equifax & Transunion
- Confirmation of Indigenous ancestry (Treaty Card, Metis or Inuit ID Card)
Selections by Committee & Approved by the Board
- All documentation is reviewed by an independent selection committee.
- The process is based on what was submitted by each applicant.
- Applicants will be notified if approved once a decision has been made.
